The Sun is reckoned, by me, to be the alchemy of air into fire, literally the creation of fact in accordance with mind.

Pluto is reckoned to be the alchemy of fire into earth, literally the manifestation of difference in accordance with fact.

I would say that people with the Sun conjunct Pluto would be aware of power. Either possessing power, being subject to power, or perhaps just having an understanding of power. It should be borne in mind that power includes political power, the power of money, and even the laws of Nature such as the inevitablity of death.
