Venus and Saturn


Venus is reckoned, by me, to be the alchemy of water into fire, literally the creation of fact in accordance with desire.


Saturn is reckoned to be the alchemy of earth into air, literally the manifestation of mind in accordance with difference.


The non-complementary natures of Venus and Saturn, as processes, suggests that there is always a struggle going on between what is wanted, or unwanted, and what is experienced. Because these function together, being conjunct, but paradoxically canno function together, being as immiscible as oil and water, some other thing must emerge, and likely that is going to be somewhat disappointing, eithe for the native, or those they encounter. However, the indication with Planetary Pairs is of some extraordinary ability, or lack thereof, in this regard.


There is an inherent bias to be aware of; in all such lists, the origin of the data is generally from among the famous. This does not invalidate it, but is something to take notice of.
