Lizzie Borden became one of the most notorious legal cases in American history, following the 1892 axe murders of her father Andrew and stepmother Abby. Lizzie was found not guilty, but that didn't prevent speculation and this rhyme:


Lizzie Borden took an axe
and gave her mother forty whacks.
When she saw what she had done,
she gave her father forty-one.

Andrew Borden now is dead,
Lizzie hit him on the head.
Up in heaven he will sing,
on the gallows she will swing.


Elizabeth Montgomery , star of Bewitched during the 60s, played Lizzie Borden in the 1975 film, The Legend of Lizzie Borden . But in addition, long after Elizabeth's death, it was discovered that Elizabeth Montgomery and Lizzie Borden were 6th cousins once removed.


They were both called Elizabeth, and bore a passing resemblance [I think] to one another, and all in all, if I were to be pushed to pick out an example that did not claim, but all the same hinted at reincarnation to re-examine the record of some injustice, or other troubling event, then this would be it. We will never know who took an axe and killed the stepmother and the father of Lizzie Borden, but though they may make bad law, such extreme cases make really telling examples of astrology doing something.

Really, there are just a few, but precise, aspects between the charts of Lizzie and her father, and with all those Saturn, Chiron and Pluto contacts, they truly do suggest an abusive relationship, explaining why Lizzie might snap at an appropriate moment and commit murder.

The remarkable thing about the murder of Lizzie Borden's parents, from an astrological perspective, is that there are so many transits that connect well to Lizzie's birthchart, and which are appropriate to the situation. However, they do not necessarily point to Lizzie as a murderer, not that it can be ruled out. They do show that it was a significant time, however.

When considering the nature of the connection between actress Elizabeth Montgomery and Lizzie Borden, it is worth noting the closeness of the ascendants, which allowing for inaccuracies makes a hint at a similarity between the two women. Also, it is worth noting that Lizzie Borden had a Cancerian sunsign, which being elemental Water would, I think, naturally be followed in a next life by an elementally Fire sunsign, assuming some progress in awareness had been achieved.
