Leon Trotsky was a Ukrainian Marxist politician and one of the leaders of the Russian revolution, until a rift with Stalin forced him out of the Communist Party, and out of Russia. He eventually settled in Mexico, where he lived until murdered on Stalin's orders.


In Mexico, from January 1937 to April 1939, Leon Trotsky and his wife Natasha lived with Frida Kahlo and her husband, self-confessed serial womanizer Diego Rivera, and during this time Leon and Frida had an affair.
