Examples of Political Evil - Adolf Hitler
By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are - Dietrich Bonhoeffer - The Cost of Discipleship

Adolf Hitler's background
Adolf Hitler was the leader of Germany who initiated both World War II and the Holocaust.
What makes Adolf Hitler such a great example?
Adolf Hitler, along with a handful of notorius villains, exemplifies the very worst that a human being can achieve in life, and in doing so Adolf Hitler has become a byword for evil. However, just as life is informed by death, good is informed by evil, so we should not be afraid to look at it occasionally. As an extreme, and as a well documented individual, Adolf Hitler makes a fantastic example for demonstrating the true workings of both astrology and the Mandala.
Adolf Hitler and Pearl Harbour

The event that brought America into WWII was the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This is directly linked, historically, with Hitler's death, and the downfall of Germany, because from that moment Germany lost the War.
Astrologically, we can see in great detail both the astrological impact on Hitler himself, together with the remarkable astrological connection beween those two events. That connection has a key axis through Saturn and Chiron, the sensing of reality, and the feeling of reality. At Pearl Harbor transiting Chiron was on Hitler's natal Saturn, and when he died below the Reichstag transiting Saturn was on his natal Chiron.
The chart shown is the birth of Adolf Hitler, with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor as transits.
The Suicide of Adolf Hitler

MI5 state that Hitler committed suicide sometime in the afternoon of 30 April 1945, the chart is set for midday, I would note that midday does often seem to function meaningfully for the whole day, in astrology, possibly being symptomatic of the questions about how wide is a line, and how long is a moment.
The chart shown is for the birth of Adolf Hitler, with the death of Adolf Hitler as transits.
Hitler the Human Being
It is almost universal to condemn Hitler outright as the arch stereotype of evil, as a psychopath, as a sado-masochistic archetype of villainy. But these responses to his very great evils do us all a disservice, because they cast Hitler in as inhuman a light as he did his millions of victims.
It does us a disservice because it prevents us from seeing that we too are flawed, maybe not so extremely, but nevertheless none of us is perfect. This fact makes it important to see all villains clearly, as the complex compound individuals that they undoubtedly are, and if it is ever appropriate, we should allow ourselves to recognise where a villain has virtuous human traits.
Seeing everyone as combinations of good and bad is the first step to learning how to forgive, and we certainly do need to learn that lesson. If we are ever wronged, and then fail to see humanity in the wrong-un, the perpetrator of the wrong, we only extend our own suffering, by learning that our own sins are as implacably unforgivable, so we burden ourselves with guilt and shame.
Seeing all people clearly, as flawed individuals, as animals even, allows us to overcome the 'Us and Them' separation inherent in both the politics and behaviour, of those whose purpose [consciously or not] is to divide us, and thereby harm us, and turn us into equally divisive agents of evil.
