James Bond's background

James Bond is one of fiction's most enduring characters - 007 with a licence to kill - he was not only a success in Ian Fleming 's novels, but also made the transition to the silver screen becoming one of the most successful film franchises ever.

But beyond the stories lays Fleming's wartime role at Naval Intelligence where he came to know many real life spys and double-agents, some of whom came to be the inspiration for the character and back story of James Bond. Not least among these was Ian's own older brotherPeter Fleming , Patrick Dalzel-Job , Wilfred Dunderdale , and Duško Popov ,

As well as the real life characters who contributed authenticity to James Bond's otherwise fictional nature, we also see actors loom large in the manifestation of 007 as a real fact in the World. So we might expect that Sean Connery , Roger Moore , Pierce Brosnan , and Daniel Craig ,

One feature of James Bond that makes him an acceptable example for astrology is that he was furnished with a date of birth, 11 November 1920, and the name Fleming took from a real life person, James Bond (ornithologist) . The birth date is obviously going to be of interest in an Astrology context, and it also just so happens to be the date that the Unknown Soldier was first commemorated. . The date was actually established with or by Bond's first biographer, John Pearson (author) , in the 1973 fictional book James Bond: The Authorized Biography of 007.

What makes James Bond such a great example?

Births of James Bond and Ian Fleming

With so many origins for James Bond it is astrologically remarkable that Ian Fleming has a precise opposition from his own Venus to the Mars of James Bond, which with ultra-coincidence just happens to be the exact Mars position of his brother Peter Fleming, AND the exact Mars position of the ornitholagist whose name was borrowed for James Bond.

Births of James Bond and Peter Fleming

The glaringly obvious fact from Peter's birth chart, which is astounding when you consider that he was the main model for James Bond, is that they both have Mars in exactly the same place. That is, James Bond, the secret agent, who is the very definition of unknown soldier, in a manner of speaking, and so takes the unknown soldier's date as his birthday, shares the very most key feature of action, i.e. Mars, with the man upon whose actions he was most largely based.

Births of James Bond and James Bond (ornithologist)

If it wasn't enough that James Bond shares Mars with his inspiration, here we have the doner of the name, the real James Bond (ornithologist), in possession of exactly the same Mars position as both of the others.

Just in case you think this Mars sharing thing is a bit odd, which it is, but take it too seriously, here are some random names of people who are both famous and also have Mars in the same place (by up to 2 degrees). David Bowie Jim Carrey Marlon Brando James Spader Theodore Roosevelt Jimmy Kimmel Tom Selleck John Wayne Laurence Olivier Franz Liszt Ed Harris Lars Ulrich Blaise Pascal John Edward Buzz Aldrin Stevie Ray Vaughan Hergé Lee Majors Edward VII of the United Kingdom Ali Khamenei
