Roseann Quinn (sunmars) was a teacher from New York who in 1973 was murdered by John Wayne Wilson , a man she had met that night in a local bar. Apparently he had been a disappointment sexually, failing to achieve an erection. Perhaps she had insulted him, whereupon he stabbed her 18 times with a kitchen knife. Four months later he hanged himself in prison.


Judith Rossner wrote the book Looking For Mr Goodbar, which was later turned into a film about the events.


Unfortunately, we don't know what time Roseann Quinn was born, so have to ignore some factors, but there is still a lot to be seen when investigating the astrology of her story.

A direct comparison of birth charts doesn't tell us very much, and why should it? As a relationship they were ships in the night, perhaps he proximity of Venus was something; they were both Sun Scorpios, and with Sun conjunct Mars, she certainly had every excuse to be active. Beyond that they don't seem to connect. The actual relationship though is something else.

Perhaps, him being a Vietnam Vet, he had PTSD that was triggered, perhaps she called him gay, or he felt it due to ED - Mercury was transiting his natal Venus at the time of the murder, and natally he may have had Moon trine Pluto - being triggered by a trine each from Venus. Whatever motivated him, he killed her on this date, and we can see how that fits the astrology.
